The Sex issue
As Senior Photo Editor, I brought a distinctive visual voice to The Western Gazette’s annual “Sex Issue,” a bold, themed edition exploring sexuality, relationships, and identity.
My contributions span from shooting the cover of the 2025 Sex Issue to leading a historic analog-forward edition in 2023, produced entirely on small and medium-format film. Across these projects, I’ve blended creative risk-taking with thoughtful, inclusive storytelling to capture intimacy and connection through a student lens.

In 2023, we partnered with All Things Film studio and lab. Using the Gazette's former darkroom manager's Rolleiflex, we produced an analog sex issue on a combination of small and medium format film. As the first analog forward issue in the digital era, this marked a historic moment in the Western Gazette's history.
